VSF has perfectly replicated the alternating brushed and polished finishes on the ceramic surface, including the ceramic winding crown and conical Helium Escape Valve at 10 o’clock.

• Laser-Ablated Relief Dial & Bezel: To maintain the “Black Black” aesthetic without losing legibility, VSF utilizes advanced laser ablation. Instead of engraving into the dial, the background is lasered away to leave the iconic Seamaster waves raised in “positive relief.” The same technique is used on the bezel, providing incredible three-dimensional texture that catches the light beautifully despite being entirely black.
